While it would be impossible to list all of the work we do, here are some examples of how we give back to our community.
Move Beyond Labels is a subsidiary organisation providing help to refugees and ethnic minority migrant families. Through organising funfairs and events, local and ethnic minority children can form strong bonds, fostering mutual understanding and acceptance. Our buddy program offers migrant families support by partnering them up with a local host family, who is able to offer advice ranging from schooling to cultural customs.
Our foundation supports the physical and mental wellbeing of the underprivileged by providing disadvantaged or vulnerable groups in society with free healthcare.
In 2018, our foundation launched a flagship campaign to raise awareness for victims of Domestic Violence. Through holding talks and information sessions at schools, we promoted greater equality for women. Funds raised through this activity was donated to a Hong Kong domestic violence shelter for the purchase of heaters, blankets and toys for the children of single mothers.
We are proud to have funded the education of many deserving village school children through our 50+ strong partner schools network. Primarily concentrated in sub-saharan Africa and rural China, our partner schools serve underprivileged village school children by providing them with free education and sporting activities, as well as essential supplies and a safe place to stay during the week.
We provide those who are marginalised by society with free public transport. Currently trialled in Hong Kong, London and Sydney, those who cannot afford public transport are issues with an innovative "Make a Difference" smart-card that enables them to ride on all forms of public transport for free. This enables many who are unable to afford rents in larg cities to travel further in search of better employment opportunities.
We provide free books and encyclopedias for rural schools. This has provided many underserved children with unprecedented access to the knowledge necessary for success.
Thought of any idea that could change society for the better? Know of a deserving organisation that could benefit from our help?
